These works are not without consequences for users, who have to cope with partial or total closures, during the day or evening, on weekdays or weekends.

In detail, line 2 will be closed from February 26 to March 2, 2025, between Nation and Père-Lachaise stations, located in the east of the capital. During these five consecutive days, which coincide with the end of the winter vacations, Père-Lachaise station becomes the temporary terminus.

In concrete terms, Philippe Auguste, Alexandre Dumas, Avron and Nation stations will be closed to passengers and inaccessible for the duration of the works.

To help passengers with their journeys, RATP has announced the introduction of replacement buses. Passengers can also use other metro lines, such as lines 1, 6 and 9, or RER line A.
