Since the beginning of 2025, major underground works have been underway to modernize the Paris and Ile-de-France public transport network. This autumn, it's line 10' s turn to announce various disruptions due to the arrival of the MF19 trains.
In detail, RATP is announcing that traffic will be completely interrupted for five consecutive days, from Sunday to Thursday, between September 7 and October 2, 2025 inclusive. However, these closures will not take place in the middle of the day. Due to night work, train traffic will be completely interrupted every evening from 10:30 pm:
In the event of a match at the Parc des Princes, RATP specifies that"the evening closure will be cancelled and rescheduled at a later date".
To help you get around during the work, you can take RER line C, as well as metro lines 6, 9 and 12.
In particular, this work will enable the deployment of the new MF19 trains. Line 10, which runs between Boulogne - Pont de Saint-Cloud and Gare d'Austerlitz, will be the first to welcome the new MF19 metro. This new-generation metro is scheduled to enter service at the end of 2025. In addition, " certain infrastructures and station equipment will need to be adapted ", explains RATP, adding that " this new rolling stock means that several elements essential to the smooth running of trains, from power systems to signalling equipment, will have to be brought into line ".
