Alert! ZEUS, the metal horse who electrified the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, is back on Parisian soil. This steel thoroughbred returns and will plant its hooves at the foot of the Tour Eiffel, for a timely event: the Paris Eiffel Jumping, from June 19 to 21, 2026. What could be more fitting for this piece of equine art than a venue entirely dedicated to horses?
With its 1.80-meter height and futuristic look, ZEUS is far from just a pony. Forged by the talents at Atelier Blam in Nantes, it took a year of relentless work to trot its way to the Olympics. On the Seine, it turned heads, carried by a 14-meter trimaran built by MMProcess in Quiberon, which made it sail like a true sea horse. The result: 24 million viewers captivated and a sensational splash onto Olympic history.
Backed by Sanofi, its owner, it hit the road on a nationwide tour so that all French people can admire it. For three days, the artwork will be exhibited within the Village, free of charge to the public, even if they don't come to watch the competition, and you can also grab tickets for this exciting weekend if you love horses!
