Every film lover has been there at least once: the Grand Rex is a legendary cinema in Paris, and has just been voted the most beautiful cinema in the world by Time Out.

Located on the Grands Boulevards, the Grand Rex is a Parisian legend, with its Art Deco style, inaugurated in 1932. Five years ago, it came second in the ranking of the 50 most beautiful cinemas in the world by the British group Time Out. This year, it was voted most beautiful cinema in the world, ahead of three other Parisian cinemas: the Champo in 10th place, Studio 28 in 25th place and the Pantheon cinema in 37th place.

Renovated in recent years to celebrate its 90th anniversary, the Grand Rex, a listed historic monument, now boasts a facade restored to its original style, with its rotating panel atop its 36m tower, the only one of its kind in the capital. There are seven auditoriums, including the Infinite with its reclining seats and the largest, with its 2,702 seats, to accommodate the major events and exceptional screenings that cinephiles love, as well as the Rex Club in the basement.

Almost 100 years after its construction, the Grand Rex continues to bring cinema to life, with a fine program.
