Due to an "unexploded bomb from the Second World War" discovered near the tracks of the Gare du Nord, train traffic is interrupted this Friday, March 7, 2025 on several rail lines, to and from the famous Parisian station. According to SNCF management, who spoke to BFMTV, the discovery was made during the night, " while work was being carried out upstream of Paris Gare du Nord ", more precisely at Saint-Denis level, " 2.5 kilometers from the station, in the middle of the tracks ". Following the discovery, traffic was interrupted " at the request of the Paris Police Prefecture ", said the railway company, according to BFMTV.

Since this morning, train traffic has been interrupted and disrupted on many lines to and from Gare du Nord.

Finally, on the TransilienK line , trains are currently at a standstill between Aulnay-sous-Bois and Paris Gare du Nord in both directions. Here again, the resumption time is announced for 6pm.

What about Eurostar ? All Eurostar trains to and from Paris are cancelled this Friday. On the other hand,"Brussels-Marne La Vallée, London-Brussels and London-Amsterdam trains will run as normal", announces Eurostar.

For TER lines departing from and arriving at Gare du Nord,"traffic is also severely disrupted". Due to these disruptions, passengers are advised to use alternative routes.
