During the summer months, there's no shortage of festive and cultural events in Paris. From music festivals such as Solidays, We Love Green and Lollapalooza, to free concerts with Fnac Live and the Fête Nationale, there's plenty to keep Parisians and Ile-de-France residents busy at this time of year. The end of June is also marked by the famous Marche des Fiertés. Every summer, this huge LGBTQI+ parade takes to the streets of the capital to celebrate diversity, demand equal rights and fight against all forms of discrimination. This year, the festive procession will set off on Saturday June 28, 2025.
At the end of the Marche des Fiertés in Paris, a festive evening is planned in the Marais district. To ensure the smooth running of the festivities and the safety of the public and participants, the Préfecture de Police has issued an order temporarily restricting traffic on several streets in the center of the capital on June 28 and 29, 2025.
In detail, " the circulation of any motor vehicle is prohibited from June 28, 2025 at 5:00 pm to June 29, 2025 at 5:00 am, within a perimeter delimited by the following roads in Paris Centre, which must remain free to traffic ":
The Préfecture de police de Paris points out that vehicles used to commit these offences can be immobilized and impounded.
