Summer in Paris promises to be festive, cultural and sporting! One year on from the euphoria of the Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games, the capital is keen to immerse its residents in the essence of the festivities and prolong the spirit of celebration, sharing and collective emotion. At a press conference held on May 26, Paris mayor Anne Hidalgo announced a series of free events open to all to enjoy Paris throughout the summer of 2025!
Paris will be transformed from June 21 onwards. On that day, the Fête de la musique will be held in every corner of the capital, and the Hôtel de Ville urban forest will be inaugurated. What other events are planned for the capital this summer? There's no getting around it, with Fnac Live and its free concerts, the traditional fireworks display on July 14 and the great Paris concert on the Champ-de-Mars. New events will also be taking place in Paris this summer, including the capital's first Aquathlon, the inauguration of a monument to medal-winning athletes, and a kayak and paddle trip down the Seine.
The Olympic rings will also be making a comeback! But not in the way you'd expect. While they were hung on the legendary Iron Lady last summer and photographed on numerous occasions, this time the Olympic rings will be projected onto the Eiffel Tower. Announced by the City of Paris as a " highly symbolic wink ", the projection of the Olympic rings on the Eiffel Tower is scheduled for two days only. Join us all day and into the evening of Saturday July 26 and Sunday July 27, 2025, to admire and immortalize the projection!
