The Night of Museums is making a grand return on Saturday, May 23, 2026. This cultural event on a European scale invites us to rediscover our heritage from a fresh perspective through an extraordinary program of late-night openings, free tours, and unique activities awaiting us at the participating castles, museums, monuments, and institutions across the region.
Paris and the whole of the Île-de-France region are determined to unveil their finest treasures on this occasion, and promise us an eventful edition for the curious and the passionate. As you can see, this is an event not to be missed.
While Paris has a knack for attracting all eyes, the region also has plenty to offer heritage lovers. In particular, there are many artists' houses that plunge us into the world of these outstanding personalities. This time, we're heading for the Seine-et-Marne department, and more precisely Vulaines-sur-Seine, to discover the Musée départemental Stéphane Mallarmé, dedicated to the French poet and awarded the "Maison des Illustres" label.
As part of European Museum Night, an exclusive lineup awaits visitors at Mallarmé!
For this special evening, the poet's house and garden come alive illuminated by the glow of magic lantern projections!
Blending theater, music, and storytelling, the company Le Sourire de Pépé invites you to rediscover the collections by the light of this mysterious device (at 7:30 PM and 8:30 PM), followed by a unique outdoor performance under the starlit sky at 10 PM.
Le programme est mis à jour en fonction des annonces officielles.
