A quick reminder: the Fête de la Musique was born in 1982. Under the impetus of Jack Lang, then Minister of Culture, Maurice Fleuret and Christian Dupavillon, architect-scenographer and member of the Cabinet, the very first Fête de la Musique was launched in France on June 21, 1982. Since then, the event has gone from strength to strength, and has even been exported abroad.

So, what program awaits you in Paris this year? If you're in the Ménilmontant or Belleville area, head to 88 Ménilmontant. As it has every summer since 2017, this 900m² plot is being taken over by the Bellevilloise teams to host artistic performances, shows, concerts and workshops until the end of September.

88 Ménilmontant is once again taking part in the Fête de la musique. Sunday, June 21, 2026, the summer spot welcomes Gang Bambi for Pride Month. So what’s on the menu? A festive, socially conscious, and queer lineup!
