Every year on June 21, a curious phenomenon unfolds: living music echoes from every street corner, sparking irresistible leg and arm movements. You’ve probably guessed it: we’re talking about the indispensable and mythical Fête de la musique.
On the same date each year, namely June 21, musicians—amateurs and professionals alike—go all out to celebrate music in a friendly, communal spirit. For an entire day, music of all kinds (rock, rap, electro, classical, blues, jazz, reggae, French variety, etc.) resounds everywhere in the streets, but also in bars and restaurants, parks and gardens, institutions, museums, churches...
And of course, these concerts are offered free to the public, who can use the occasion to discover new talents, but also sometimes well-known and recognized artists.
While great musical plans abound in Paris, they’re just as plentiful across Île-de-France, including in Aubervilliers. This Seine-Saint-Denis town is once again inviting locals and visitors to discover fresh talents.
The Sunday, June 21, 2026 will see gatherings across several spots in the commune, including Parc Stalingrad, to celebrate the music. What’s on the program this year? A popular dance, the renowned DJ Bens, and RnB artist Lynda. The Franco-Algerian singer, who has already worked with Dadju, Soolking, Soprano and Tayc, will treat Aubervilliers residents to a free roughly 45-minute showcase. Here’s the lineup!
