For an entire day, French people are invited to bring out their instruments and showcase their singing and musicianship by filling the streets, squares, gardens and parks—or heading to museums, churches and concert venues.
Thus, during this Music Day, first launched in 1982, all genres are put in the spotlight: from rock to rap, including jazz, zouk, blues, reggae, electro, and French pop.
