There’ll be swing all over Villeparisis this summer ! This town in Seine-et-Marne is promising a festive lineup to celebrate the new edition of the Fête de la Musique taking place this year on Sunday, June 21, 2026!
Every June 21 since 1982, people in France are invited to take to the streets with their instruments and let living music ring out. On this fixed date each year, aspiring musicians and singers flood the streets, boulevards, squares, bridges, and also parks, gardens and parks, as well as cafés, bars and restaurants, and occasionally churches and museums. The aim? To pay tribute to music in all its forms for just one day.
From rock to metal, passing through rap, R&B, salsa, reggae, zouk, classical, French pop, jazz, blues, funk and electronic... all genres take center stage on 21 juin, thanks to the talent of amateur musicians, but also to certain famous artists who don’t hesitate to put on free concerts for the occasion.
In Paris, great music finds abound with concerts to discover in museums, parks and gardens, or even in restaurants. Elsewhere in Île-de-France, the celebration continues, including in Villeparisis. This Seine-et-Marne town is once again taking part in the Fête de la musique, offering residents an eclectic lineup to enjoy on the parking lot of the Centre culturel Jacques Prévert. See you on June 21, 2026 from 6 p.m. to enjoy these free concerts, as varied as they are festive!
