On the agenda for this final episode is the final confrontation to put an end to Eren's funeral march towards the rest of humanity. It's time for Armin, Mikasa and all the other members of the exploration battalion to stop their friend and put an end to this Apocalypse.

And it's fair to say that even before discovering the episode, most fans were frustrated. This "final season" has been going on since 2020, and too many hiatuses have confused fans, who weren't looking forward to this ending at all. Fortunately, this final chapter, in the form of a feature film, fulfills all the promises that have been made in recent years. The manga is faithfully adapted, and the staging of this final confrontation impresses as much as it moves. The journey has been intense, and despite the unbearable anticipation that has been the watchword of season 4, we can only be satisfied with the end of this decade-long adventure, which has left its mark on a whole generation of manga fans.
