Vedettes de Paris organizes its free open-air cinema

For the first time,"Vedettes de Paris", this emblematic company on the Seine, is offering an open-air cinematic experience. During the summer of 2023, Parisians will be able to enjoy this unique innovation at the foot of the Eiffel Tower, on the water's edge, with special programming dedicated to the City of Light, by theme or setting.

Founded in 1976, Vedettes de Paris has always been an integral part of the capital's historic landscape, offering cruises to discover the beauty of Paris. This year, by creating an"open-air cinema" operation, the company pays tribute to the city that has long been its showcase. From Wednesday August 23 to Sunday August 27, the quays of the Port de Suffren, where the boats are moored, will be transformed into a space dedicated to cinema, with deckchairs and a giant screen.

Each evening, 100 spectators will have the chance to discover a film on the theme of Paris. The only backdrop for these screenings will be the famous Eiffel Tower, the Seine, and the Trocadero esplanade in the background. It's a unique summer experience that pays tribute to the capital in the most beautiful of ways. It's an event that's sure to delight film-loving Parisians.

The cinema program kicks off every evening at 10.30pm, with classics such as"Ratatouille","La Tour Montparnasse Infernale" and"Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amelie Poulain". To take part in these exceptional evenings, simply reserve a deckchair by purchasing a"Cinéma en Plein Air" cruise ticket.

Each screening is preceded by an Apero Cruise with live music, starting at 8pm.
