As France seeks to ease tense diplomatic relations, it decides to loan the Mona Lisa to the United States. Aboard the brand-new ocean liner France, Minister of Culture André Malraux, played by Christian Clavier, supervises the crossing. But in the middle of the ocean, the painting disappears, threatening to cause a global incident.
