Excitement is building among Paul McCartney fans eager to see his upcoming release, "Man on the Run." Marketed as a musical documentary, this film explores the legendary British artist's life after The Beatles, charting the formation of Wings with his wife Linda. The project is helmed by Oscar-winning director Morgan Neville, who has also earned Emmy and Grammy Awards for his work.
Through rare archival footage and personal interviews, the documentary takes us back into the solo career of Paul McCartney, highlighting themes of rebirth, family unity, artistic risks, and the iconic years of Wings. "Paul McCartney: Man on the Run" features exclusive archival footage of Ringo Starr, John Lennon, George Harrison, Linda McCartney, and Wings, as well as photographs of Linda McCartney and interviews with Mick Jagger of the Rolling Stones, Chrissie Hynde of The Pretenders, Sean Ono Lennon, Mary and Stella McCartney—survivors of Wings—and, of course, Paul himself.
The film will be available starting February 27 on Prime Video. However, for the more eager fans, several cinemas around the world will be screening the preview of "Paul McCartney: Man on the Run." This documentary will be shown in a single special screening on Thursday, February 19, 2026.
