The Paris Design Week is set in motion across the capital, from September 10 to 19, 2026. Over ten days, design steps out of its usual frame to meet the city, its architecture and everyday life, through a series of free installations, exhibitions and experiences scattered across venues that are sometimes surprising. A journey that flows from furniture to the urban landscape, from artisanal craft to contemporary experimentation, all while revealing a new perspective on Paris.

In the gardens of the National Archives, on the Soubise side, the French garden takes a few liberties. After “577 chairs: the citizen’s hemicycle,” Johanna de Clisson enters the sightlines with “Sculpture/Landscape: New Figures of the French Garden,” a installation comprising about ten white sandstone jardinière-sculptures. Geometry, symmetry, and the staging of plant life: the designer redraws the garden’s classic codes, making her shapes dialogue with the columns, the boxwoods, and the architecture of the Hôtel de Soubise.
