The battle for beauty pop-ups in Paris continues. After Diptyque and Paula’s Choice, it’s now Valentino Beauty’s turn to roll out its summer event. On Saturday, July 4 and Sunday, July 5, 2026, the Italian house takes over the courtyard of the École Duperré, in the Marais, to host its Summer Fair, a free pop-up with carnival vibes.
Pop-up stores in Paris: the ephemeral, experience-driven shops you need to discover right now
Fashion, beauty, food, design or lifestyle: pop-up stores are popping up all over Paris and Île-de-France. These temporary shops let you discover a brand, a collection or a new release, for a few days or weeks. [Read more]
A year after Le Jardin Valentino, held at the Hôtel Particulier Montmartre, a shift in scenery and tone. Out with the romantic garden and bucolic paths: in with a schoolyard transformed into a giant fairground. The event accompanies the launch of the new hair and body fragrance mists, but more than anything it’s been conceived as a laid-back summer interlude where people come for the vibe as much as for the scents.
On the program: a perfume bar, duck fishing, a knockdown game, a claw machine, an ice-cream bar, and a photocall. Plenty to hop from booth to booth, like a funfair, with the brand’s colorful universe as the backdrop. Access is free, on registration.
For one weekend, the courtyard of Ecole Duperré will be transformed into a scented playground, with retro-inspired activities, ice creams, and photo stops. A new way for the Italian house to bring its universe to life in the heart of the Marais.
Our view:
In the courtyard of École Duperré, the pop-up unfurls like a carnival ride scented for the senses, with an ice-cream stand, a duck‑hunt, a ball‑and‑cavour game (chamboule-tout), a claw machine, and a photo booth arranged around the central stage where the brand’s new fragrances are tested, all set to a candy-pink atmosphere and a carnival‑yard soundtrack.
Upon arrival, you’re handed a bag with samples and tickets to get stamped at the “attractions.” Then there’s no prescribed order: start at the stand that tempts you most, because time flies. Slots run 30 minutes for about 40 guests, and each station stays fairly compact. A few tables and parasols let you pause with your ice cream, but it’s best not to linger too long if you want to try all the activities before the next slot.
Côté expérience, everything is free: nice prizes to win at the duck pond and the chamboule-tout, samples to snag at the claw machine, free ice cream tied to the new releases — vanilla, pistachio, coconut or caramel — and a photo booth with a personalized frame. Even if you don’t win a prize, you still enjoy the entrance samples, a scoop to savor on the spot, and a keepsake photo. Online registrations are closed, but free on-site entry remains possible, with access regulated by crowding.
