If you're allergic to cat hair, this is not the event for you! But for all the others who adore these cute little balls of fur, head for the Pavillon Baltard, in Nogent-sur-Marne, on November 4 and 5, 2023. Eight years after its last edition, the Salon du Chat is back, with prestigious beauty contests and 700 cats of 42 different breeds, each more magnificent than the last, who will be showing off their finest fur to try and convince the 20 international judges!
Inaugurated in 1981, the show had ceased activity in 2015, but is now back on track with events for the whole family and the chance to go home with a new companion for life. As with all shows where breeders are present, it's worth remembering that adopting an animal is a long-term responsibility, a decision not to be taken on the spur of the moment or to please the kids, to avoid it ending up on the street or in the SPA in a few years' time. You'll be able to discover rare breeds and find out which one is right for you, thanks to the professionals on hand!
