Welcome to the landmark of cat lovers big and small in Saint-Chéron, Essonne: here, Thiago, Thalia, Suzy and other four-legged furballs welcome you.
A la carte, you'll be spoilt for choice, from homemade pastries such as brownie, crêpes or chocolate chip cookies, to savoury dishes (salmon croque-monsieur, risotto, quiche of the day...) and, of course, comforting hot drinks to cope with winter temperatures or, on the contrary, cold drinks to cool down in fine weather. The only difference with a traditional tea room is thatÔ Chat Beau Thé is inhabited by six cats, who roam freely around the café.
What's more, the tea room collaborates with an association, l'Etoile de l'espoir félin (based in Breux-Jouy, Essonne), and each of the café's cats is actually waiting to be adopted. Ô Chat Beau Thé is open all week, except Mondays: if you live not far from Saint-Chéron, the place also acts as acoworking space : this time, you'll have to pay a flat rate by the hour, with a drink or sweet offered every hour. A place to relax and a perfect address for cuddling kittens, less than an hour from Paris!
