The 48H of Obstacles are back! On the schedule: 16 hurdle races, including 5 Group 1 events—top-tier contests in Thoroughbred racing—and lots of free entertainment! This is what visitors can expect when they head to the Auteuil Racecourse on the weekend of November 14 and 15, 2026. To celebrate the end of the racing season in Paris in style, the two-day event brings together Europe’s best horses and jockeys for around fifteen hurdles and steeplechase races.
On the program for the festivities is the Prix Serge Landon, a 4800-meter race with 16 hurdles, in which the best horses aged 5 and over will have to link jumps without losing speed between obstacles. The Prix La Haye Jousselin , considered to be the rematch of the Grand Steeple-Chase de Paris, will be contested on Sunday: 22 obstacles will be placed in the competitors' path, over a distance of 5500 meters.
In addition to all these spectacular races, there's plenty of entertainment planned for the weekend. Children will be able to enjoy free pony rides, sack races, Pony Hop races, a giant inflatable structure and a carousel with wooden horses!
And because you've got to eat, there are plenty of options to choose from. For a snack, take advantage of the pancake, waffle and candy stands. In short, a great program of activities for the whole family, and what's more, it's free for the kids!
