Gold, silver, bronze: in France, we know fencing medals all too well. And we never have enough of them! That's why we hope to see our tricolor women fencers shine on the pistes at the Pierre Brossolette Sports Center in Saint-Maur-des-Fossés. The Val-de-Marne town is hosting the 2026 edition of the Women's Epee World Cup, which will take place on May 22, 23 and 24, 2026.
This major international competition brings together 250 athletes from 50 different countries. The women fencers go head-to-head in a must-see event eagerly anticipated by fans and competitors alike.
France makes its entrance on the piste with a delegation of twenty athletes, including Auriane Mallo-Breton (Paris 2024 Olympic silver-medalist), Marie-Florence Candassamy (2023 individual world champion) and Alexandra Louis Marie (2026 Doha Grand Prix silver medallist). The French squad are reigning world champions, and the Olympic silver-medallists in épée: expectations are that they will come out on top in this World Cup.
But the competition will be fierce, and a weekend packed with emotion and adrenaline awaits us in Saint-Maur-des-Fossés. The world’s top fencers are gathering just outside Paris for three days of high-octane action. A spectacular show awaits fencing fans!
We’re counting on you to come cheer on the French women’s team, the Blues, in Saint-Maur-des-Fossés!
