In the past, there were the Sundays at the Races. Today, the focus has shifted to Family Days at the Racecourse, which now take place on Saturdays and Sundays—sometimes even both days! The concept remains largely the same, aiming to draw families to the racecourses with affordable tickets for parents and free entry for children under 12.
Children can get up close with the horses, visit the stables, have fun participating in sack races, and even discover a passion for jockeying. Meanwhile, parents might find themselves tempted to place bets on the day's horse races. It’s a perfect opportunity to explore the legendary tracks across Paris: Longchamp Racecourse, Auteuil Racecourse, and Saint-Cloud Racecourse. Kids can even cheer for the champions as they cross the finish line—and, most importantly, immerse themselves in the world of horse racing.
Among the activities free for children, there are pony rides, a carousel, a jockey parade, a new-generation rocking horse, a themed discovery trail, an inflatable play area, custom decorating of horseshoes, giant murals, and not to forget, the presence of the lovable mascot Lili the unicorn!
Take advantage of the guided tours inside the Racecourse to get a behind-the-scenes look at what goes into hosting a race day. The tour costs €12 per person.
