Feel like taking a dip in the Ourcq Canal this Saturday, August 26, 2023? Then head for Pantin for the latest edition of "Nage ton Canal", Seine-Saint-Denis' famous open-water race!

For lovers of open-water swimming, we suggest you head to Pantin this Saturday, August 26, 2023, for the new edition of"Nage ton Canal". Come and take part in or watch this famous open-water race, with 5 distances of 250, 500, 1500, 3000 and even 5000 metres! And if swimming isn't your thing, an unusual buoy race awaits you to try and get there first, a little drier!

How do you take part? Registration costs 10 euros, and is open to all swimmers aged 12 and over, with or without a medical certificate. The buoy race and introductory swim for children are free, but you still need to register in advance. To put your mind at rest, please note that the water from the Ourcq Canal is tested for bacteriological contamination by a duly accredited laboratory before the race.

New this year is a swimrun, a 500 m swim followed by a 3.2 km run, if you prefer to keep your feet on the ground! As in previous years, the start will be from the Port de Pantin, where free sporting activities and games will be on offer, including water polo, parkour and rock climbing.
