The Paris-Nice 2026 race continues to pass through the Yvelines, including the charming town of d'Achères, at the start of March! This renowned cycling race kicks off from here, providing a perfect opportunity to celebrate the spirit of cycling with a free entertainment village for all ages. On March 7th and 8th, 2026, visitors can enjoy a range of activities centered on bikes and urban sports right in the marketplace square.
In addition to watching the race start live on Sunday at 12:50 PM, a large screen will be set up so spectators can follow the race throughout the afternoon! The event will feature a variety of activities suitable for the whole family, along with live music and food stalls. The Department is also organizing hiking excursions for both seasoned hikers and beginners. Notably, a cycling hike organized by the Departmental Cycling Committee will kick off on Saturday, March 7th at 12:45 PM, followed immediately by a cycling event exclusively for women.
Heads up: traffic will be closed to vehicles across a large part of the municipality. It's best to park farther away or take the train instead!
