Located in the Parc du Château de Villiers in Poissy, in the Yvelines department, Accrocamp is a family-friendly adventure course. With its annual reopening at the end of March, this nature-filled spot is the ideal setting to venture among the trees.

Accrocamp is expanding once again to thrill adventure enthusiasts. After the unveiling of the new accrobranche at Créteil, we head to the Parc du Château de Villiers and Accrocamp Poissy. Just a few minutes from Paris, you plunge into the park’s lush forest and meander to the heart of the installation, near the playground, strolling along the neo‑classical 19th‑century château.

Open year-round - The grounds of Villiers Castle Park in Poissy greet visitors with 12 hectares of lush greenery. The château itself is not open for tours, but a mini-farm with animals awaits guests all year long.

The adventure course, still in the finalization stage when we visited, revealed two routes. A third, featuring 20 stations and suspended above the park’s donkeys, was under construction and should be up and running by now. In short, two options this time: one course that’s more accessible, and another aimed at the more seasoned.

We start with the safety briefing and the parcours test, just like in every tree-top adventure. As with other Accrocamps, we appreciate the poulie continue system that keeps you attached no matter what and spares you from setting it up during the zip lines. A double sécurité remains in place, but in practice you only have to detach and reattach a single carabiner while still being supported by the continuous pulley.

The first course is fairly straightforward (except for those who are afraid of heights) and is divided by difficulty to let you progress at your own pace. The real highlight of this route is its 100-meter zip line that overlooks the clearing, delivering a spectacular finale.

The second course, the one nicknamed Tarzan, also proves fairly approachable, but it carries one real hurdle: the leap into the void to grab onto the net. The nerves are there, but trust us—once you take the leap, you’re fine. Just remember to clamber onto the net with the same grip as a spider. And if it still doesn’t click, there’s a very pleasant alternative: a zipline-style detour nearby.

Youth and adults alike aren’t left out, as the venue also features a net obstacle course without a harness. Fully secured with multiple compartments, these nets invite you to dive in, like the big kids we are, into balls of different sizes. The course ends with the swirling slide, of course.

The spot is open every day in summer and during the school holidays, as well as on Wednesdays, public holidays, and weekends in March, April, May, September, October and November. On site, you’ll also find large wooden tables for birthdays and a snack bar to eat and refresh, a spot where you’ll love to climb around and blow off steam.
