Nuit des Châteaux 2025: fire show and lanterns at Château de Dampierre-en-Yvelines

Just like the Nuit des Musées, there's also a Nuit des Châteaux. A program to (re)discover, by night, the splendor of France's architectural and historical heritage. On October 17, 18 and 19, 2025, we invite you to Paris and the Île-de-France region to rediscover the treasures of our region and raise awareness of the need to preserve our monuments and castles.

Château Dampierre-en-Yvelines is once again taking part in this family event. Located in the Yvelines region, in the famous Vallée de Chevreuse, it has long been considered the most important château in the Île-de-France region, and has welcomed visiting kings of France including François I, Louis XIV and Louis XV. Its fine classical architecture, dating from the last quarter of the 17th century, was designed by the architect Jules Hardouin Mansart.

So, what does the Domaine de Dampierre-en-Yvelines have in store for Nuit des Châteaux 2025 ? The monument opens its doors to us on the evening of Friday, October 17 and Saturday, October 18, 2025, with a spectacular program for young and old alike!

La Nuit des Châteaux at the Domaine de Dampierre-en-Yvelines :

• Under the stars, marvel at the torchlit horses performing majestic figures of haute and basse école in the château gardens.
  
  
• In the courtyard, a small fire show will set the night ablaze.
  
  
• Stroll freely through the park and alleys, illuminated for the occasion.
  
  
• Children will receive their lanterns to join in the magic.
  
  
• Gourmet foodtrucks and the Domaine's kiosk await you to satisfy your dining cravings.
