Want to run in nature without straying far from the Paris area? Gravelanza Paris returns on Saturday, June 13 and Sunday, June 14, 2026 at the Terrace of the Meudon Observatory, at the outskirts of Paris. Conceived by Salomon, this new sports event aims to showcase gravel running, a discipline that sits between road running, trail, and outdoor adventure.
The concept: offer nature-influenced races accessible from Paris, with multiple distances, a lively central village, and an atmosphere designed for runners and their supporters. Throughout the weekend, participants circle back to the Gravelanza Hub, the event’s rallying point, before heading back onto the trails of Meudon forest.
The program: three race formats of 7.4 km, 16.4 km, and 24.2 km, a Run Crew Battle, activities, gear tests, food, coffee and matcha, yoga sessions, podcasts, and live music.
Gravelanza Paris offers three distances to explore Meudon forest according to your level. The routes start from the Terrace of the Observatory and weave between woods, trails, climbs, and smoother stretches. A way to test a more nature-forward race than a standard 10k, without straying far from Paris.
Unlike a linear race, Gravelanza Paris unfolds around a central village: the Hub Gravelanza. Runners pick up their bibs, regroup with their team, loop back through the area, and soak up the vibe before or after their run.
On-site, the event promises gear tests, a Lifestyle & Food zone, recovery spaces with physios and osteopaths, a chill zone, coffee, matcha, activities, and live music. Spectators can follow the race and enjoy the village at their leisure.
On Saturday, June 13, 2026, the Run Crew Battle shines a spotlight on running clubs with a free 2.7 km race reserved for run clubs. The start is at 2:00 PM, with teams made up of at least six runners.
Placings are based on three criteria: speed, collective power, and atmosphere. A trophy will be awarded to the winning club, in a spirit more festive than strictly competitive.
In the Challenge and Endurance formats, timed KOM/QOM segments enhance the experience. These portions reward the best climbers, regardless of overall placement. An option for runners who love surges, short climbs, and course-level challenges.
For this inaugural edition, each participant receives a Gravelanza Salomon pack including:
At the finish, every finisher also receives a wooden medal, made in France from wood sourced from sustainably managed forests.
Gravelanza Paris speaks to curious runners, urban-trail fans, road runners looking to mix up surfaces, and athletes seeking an active outing near Paris. The event combines a race with a weekend of sport, socializing, and entertainment.
From Paris, access is possible via the RER C, stop Meudon-Val-Fleury, the N line, stop Meudon, and the 289 and 389 buses, stop Église. A chance to turn a June weekend into a sporty, festive break at the gates of Paris.
