Instead of going to a museum or art gallery to admire works of art, what if you became the subject of one? Studio Idan is the photo studio of nude artist Idan Wizen, inviting you to become his new subject for a photo session, for exhibitions or simply for art. The photo studio is due to open on March 30, 2023, at its new address in the 3rd arrondissement of Paris. We'd like to take this opportunity to take part in the inauguration on March 30, to sign up and discover the many collections on display.
The idea behind this studio? To enable you to take part in Un Anonyme Nu Dans Le Salon, the artist's artistic project initiated 14 years ago, with the ambition "to constitute the largest photographic series ever made representing humanity as it is, in its most natural state, its nudity and its diversity". The artist's aim is to create "an immense bank of portraits of contemporary men and women who have agreed to show themselves as they are", i.e. naked. His next collection: The Boomer Collection.
Artistic photos that bear witness to "universal human beauty, far beyond the restrictive socio-cultural and aesthetic criteria of our time". Through his photos, Idan Wizen attempts "to exacerbate the true authenticity of each of his models, breaking through any masks they may have, exposing through each of them the simple, naked beauty of human nature". In all, almost 3,000 people have already passed under the artist's lens, through 14 different collections, one of which was on show at Galerie La Lison, in La Bête Humaine, until March 14, 2023.
