" Du bout des lèvres " is the name of the new INA heritage concert scheduled to take place at the Grand Rex in Paris on Monday, September 18, 2023. And for this musical event, the capital's famous Grands Boulevards venue has chosen to honor a French chanson legend: Barbara. It's an opportunity to celebrate"love, song and this great poetic figure of French music ", explains INA in a press release.
On September 18, for the show"Barbara, du bout des lèvres", the sublime songs of the " Dame en noir " will be covered by Barbara Pravi, Agnès Jaoui, Carla Bruni and Raphaël.
" A selection of these exceptional archives, reworked and enhanced, will accompany the artists on stage during this concert," explains INA in the same press release.

Please note that the Serge Gainsbourg tribute concert, originally scheduled for Sunday September 17, has been cancelled. "Following the recent death of Jane Birkin, this tribute concert to Gainsbourg can unfortunately no longer go ahead. The INA and the Grand Rex hope to reschedule this event very soon, and will keep you informed," explains the Grand Rex on its website.
This Barbara tribute concert is not the first of its kind. In 2019, the Grand Rex already hosted the"Immortel Bashung" show, featuring Jane Birkin, Hubert-Félix Thiéfaine, Alain Chamfort, Brigitte Fontaine and Salvatore Adamo.
