Techno Parade 2026: here's the route of the electro parade through Paris

Good news for fans of electro sounds! The Techno Parade, the iconic festive event, is making its return to Paris this week. The free musical celebration, which every year puts electronic culture and music in the spotlight on the capital’s streets, comes back this Saturday, September 19, 2026, after two years off. Every September, electro music fans gather in Paris to dance to the beats pumped out by the floats of the Techno Parade. After two years away, the biggest showcase of electronic music returns to Paris this fall, more precisely on Saturday, September 19.

That’s what the event organizers announced in a post published on the social media, noting that the last two editions had been cancelled: the 2024 edition because of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, and the 2025 edition due to financial difficulties.

"To the future charists, the call is out. Join us and carry high and proud the values of freedom, diversity, and independence that have driven electronic cultures since their origins", the organizers write on Instagram again.

Techno Parade 2026: the Paris parade route unveiled

On September 19, 2026, the parade will kick off at 12:30 p.m. from place de la Bastille. The floats will then roll along Beaumarchais Boulevard, the Boulevard des Filles du Calvaire, the Boulevard du Temple, and will cross Place de la République before reaching the place de la Nation, the final stop of the electro parade!

Officially launched in France in 1998 by Technopol, the Techno Parade was created with the backing of former Culture Minister Jack Lang, modeled on Berlin's Love Parade, which had debuted less than a decade earlier. Proof of its appeal: in 25 years, the Techno Parade has drawn more than 7 million fans from across France and neighboring countries, all eager to dance to electronic music.

In 2026, the Paris Techno Parade will continue its legacy. The gathering is set for September 19, starting at 12:30 p.m. For the occasion, ten floats are planned, including those from Fun Radio, Organik, Phantom, Tomorrow Dreams, and Visit Detroit.
