As Oasis kick off their UK reformation tour, Arte announces the broadcast of the "Live From Manchester" concert event, filmed in 2005 at the British city's stadium. The show, featuring the Gallagher brothers' greatest hits, will be available online from July 21, and on TV from Wednesday night, July 23 to Thursday, July 24, 2025.

On July 4, all eyes were on Cardiff for the first concert of this majorOasis world tour. After 16 years of estrangement, the Gallagher brothers have finally mended fences for a tour of the four corners of the globe. Unsurprisingly, it's in the UK that the frenemies will be meeting their many fans first. After Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin, Oasis will head for North America, Mexico, Japan, Australia and Latin America. No dates have yet been announced for France, but fans are not losing hope.

So, while we wait for a possibleOasis concert in Paris, Arte is keeping us waiting by broadcasting their concert, captured in 2005 at the City of Manchester Stadium, by videographer Dick Carruthers. At the time, Noel and Liam Gallagher were touring the world as part of their"Don't Believe the Truth Tour". With more than 90 dates on the program, Oasis made stops in France, including Toulouse, Lille, Rouen and Paris (Olympia and Zénith).

But it's their concert in Manchester in early summer 2005 thatArte is (re)discovering. The 1:05 concert film can be seen online at Arte.tv from July 21, then on television on Arte (channel 7) on Thursday July 24 at 00:50 (Wednesday night). It's the perfect opportunity to enjoy some of the British combo's greatest hits, including " Cigarettes & Alcohol ", " Wonderwall ", " Rock 'n' Roll Star " and " Don't Look Back in Anger ".
