"Since You Leave," "Over There," "Like You," "Take Me Away," "Life by Proxy," "I Give You," as well as "I Walk Alone" and "The Violins Play" — it’s impossible to list all of Jean-Jacques Goldman's hits. Having stepped back from the public eye several years ago, the French singer-songwriter remains omnipresent in the music scene. He still holds the top spot in the ranking of most-loved French celebrities.
During the summer of 2025, several French-speaking artists gathered at Quebec City's Vieux-Port Agora to honor the 50th anniversary of Jean-Jacques Goldman's illustrious career. This recorded concert is set to be broadcast by France 2 on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, starting at 9:10 p.m. During this musical event, titled "The Great Francophonie Concert Celebrating Jean-Jacques Goldman", his most iconic songs were reimagined "against a stunning natural backdrop, along the Saint-Laurent River and under the Canadian stars", according to the press release.
