Last June, Groupe M6 unveiled its program schedule for the start of the 2025 academic year. Among the events to be seen on television in the near future? An evening celebrating the 25th anniversary of the famous musical"Notre-Dame de Paris".
Entitled " Notre-Dame de Paris, les grandes retrouvailles 25 ans après " (Our Lady of Paris, the big reunion 25 years later ), this evening will soon be broadcast on M6. The exact broadcast date is not yet known. But this musical entertainment should delight the many French people who have fallen under the spell of this legendary show by Luc Plamondon and Richard Cocciante.
First performed in Paris on September 16 1998 at the Palais des Congrès,"Notre-Dame de Paris" has since toured the world, visiting over twenty countries and being adapted into eight languages.
M6 has therefore decided to bring the show back to television, 25 years on, by reuniting the original cast. Garou, Patrick Fiori, Daniel Lavoie, Hélène Ségara, Julie Zenatti and Bruno Pelletier will reunite for the first time to play the characters who made them famous: Quasimodo, Esmeralda, Frollo, Phœbus and Fleur de Lys. Together, they will perform some of the musical's signature songs, including " Le Temps des Cathédrales ", " Belle " and " Vivre ".
For this reunion, the M6 group specifies that the artists will gather in front of 5,000 people, " in a spectacular staging and under a masterful Notre-Dame de Paris in virtual reality ".
Join us soon on M6 to discover this concert event " Notre-Dame de Paris, les grandes retrouvailles 25 ans après ". Stay tuned for the exact broadcast date of this ground-breaking show.
