Fatoumata Diawara in concert at the Olympia in Paris in November 2026

After touring France alongside Matthieu Chedid with "Lamomali," Fatoumata Diawara will once again go it alone and continue her concerts in 2026. The famous Malian artist has announced a Paris date at the legendaryOlympia venue on Wednesday, November 25, 2026. This unique show in the capital can be booked starting Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at 12 p.m. 

Considered one of the most beautiful voices in modern Africa, Fatoumata Diawara has been involved in numerous artistic projects since the mid-1990s. She made her debut in cinema. In 1997, Fatoumata Diawara played the female lead in the film "La Genèse" (winner of the " Un Certain Regard " award at the 1999 Cannes Film Festival) by director Cheick Oumar Sissoko. It was a little later that Fatoumata Diawara launched her music career.

After collaborating with several artists, Fatoumata Diawara took part in Matthieu Chedid's Malian project, Lamomali, in 2017. Later, the singer-songwriter was invited by Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett of Gorillaz to take part in the song "Song Machine."

On a personal note, Fatoumata Diawara released her first album, "Fatou," in 2011. This was followed by "Fenfo" in 2018 and "London Ko" in 2023. In the meantime, the artist returned to cinema, notably starring in "Timbuktu" (nominated for an Oscar and winner of seven Césars in 2015), a feature film for which she wrote, composed, and performed the soundtrack's title song.
