While fans await the Red Hot Chili Peppers' return to France, they can meantime enjoy a more intimate experience thanks to Flea! The legendary RHCP bassist has announced a series of shows in North America and Europe to celebrate the release of his debut solo album.
Flea will kick off his tour in Chicago, USA, on May 7, and will wrap things up in Paris, France! Mark your calendars: Parisian fans of Flea, your exclusive dates are set for the Alhambra on Thursday, May 28, and Friday, May 29, 2026. The one-of-a-kind bassist of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Flea, will take the opportunity to showcase, backed by his "Honora Band," his very first solo album. Titled "Honora," this record is set to be released on March 27, 2026. It includes the single "A Plea" and the track "Traffic Lights", co-written with Thom Yorke from Radiohead and Josh Johnson.
For his debut solo project, Flea— whose real name is Michael Peter Balzary — showcases his talents beyond his famous bass lines, also taking up the trumpet. The artist assembled a group of contemporary jazz musicians and welcomed a handful of notable guests, including Thom Yorke, the frontman of Radiohead, and Nick Cave. "Honora" features six original tracks as well as fresh takes on songs by George Clinton and Eddie Hazel, Jimmy Webb, Frank Ocean, and Shea Taylor.
To experience these tracks by Flea live, don't miss his two upcoming Paris performances at the Alhambra on May 28 and 29, 2026!
