Fans of Oasis are itching to go. For days now, rumors have been circulating about a 2027 tour across Europe and the United Kingdom. Nothing official has been announced yet. But according to The Sun and Manchester Evening News, the legendary British band formed by Liam and Noel Gallagher could hit the stage in 2027, kicking off a fresh run of shows on the other side of the Channel—and beyond.
According to two British outlets, the two brothers could take the stage at Manchester City's stadium for a major 12-date residency spread over six weeks, beginning in June 2027. If confirmed, Oasis fans would no doubt flock to Manchester—the city where the Gallagher brothers were born. Remember that in 2025, during their reunion tour, the British duo played five nights at Heaton Park in Manchester.
But there’s more. Also citing The Sun, Oasis might perform at Knebworth for six shows across three weeks. Fans know Knebworth carries a special aura for the Gallagher brothers. It’s where Oasis delivered two memorable concerts on 10 and 11 August 1996, drawing some 250,000 fans for the occasion.
What about the rest of this potential new Oasis tour in 2027? Can French fans hope to see Liam and Noel Gallagher back in France, 18 years after their Rock en Seine split? Once again, nothing is confirmed. But Stade de France in Paris had been floated as a possibility months ago. Rome in Italy could also be on the itinerary. Dates at Slane Castle in Ireland are also being looked at. On social media, some chatter points to concerts in the Netherlands, Spain, and Germany, ahead of shows at Knebworth Park.
What about the announcement of this possible European tour and the opening of the ticket office? “There was talk of announcing it during the World Cup, because of the link between the song 'Wonderwall' and the 'Three Lions' anthem associated with the tournament.” a source told The Sun. But the band reportedly opted for August instead. “That would give the country a reason to raise its voice, whether to celebrate a victory or to swallow a disappointment,” the source said.
For now, it’s all just rumors. Everything can still change and develop. One thing is certain: keep an eye on social media in the coming weeks.
We note that Oasis wrapped up its tour "Oasis Live ’25" on November 23 last year in São Paulo, Brazil. Earlier, the legendary British band had played 40 more shows, including in Chile, Argentina, Australia, Japan, Mexico, South Korea, and North America—not to mention Britain—with no fewer than seven performances at Wembley Stadium in London.
