Because Paris, like many other European cities, hosts numerous gigs dedicated to extreme music each year. Some venues have even made this their specialty, such as Élysée Montmartre, Backstage by The Mill, or Glaz’art. Others—well-known spots for Parisians—regularly open their doors to this genre, offering metal fans a healthy dose of razor-sharp riffs and pounding beats. Notable venues include Petit Bain, La Maroquinerie, La Boule Noire, and Le Trabendo.
