And for you, dear metal music lovers and enthusiasts, your favorite bands will be making a stopover in Paris over the next few months, bringing you a host of eagerly-awaited metal concerts.
Because Paris, like many other European cities, plays host to numerous concerts dedicated to extreme music every year. While some venues, such asÉlysée Montmartre, Backstage by The Mill and Glaz'art, have made this their speciality, other venues well known to Parisians regularly open their doors to this musical genre, offering metalheads a good dose of sharp riffs and powerful beats. These include Petit Bain, La Maroquinerie, La Boule Noire and le Trabendo.
TheAccor Arena, the Paris La Défense Arena, the Stade de France and theOlympia also host major metal bands and artists from time to time. In 2023 and 2024 alone, Gojira, Metallica, Rammstein, Guns N'Roses, Bruce Dickinson and Slipknot took over one of these four legendary Paris venues.
In the near future, other metal bands will be doing the same, paying tribute to this unique musical style, a real outlet for some and a place of communion for others.
