Director Julien Lewkowicz presents his new creation Ce soir j’ai de la fièvre et toi tu meurs de froid at the Théâtre Paris-Villette from March 19 to April 4, 2026. Winner of the 2025 SACD–Beaumarchais directing grant, this show will first be previewed at the 2025 Impatience Festival at the CENTQUATRE-PARIS, before its premiere in Paris in the spring.

The play delves into the memory of the 1980s by recreating on stage the last broadcast of Lune de Fiel, a cult program on Radio Fréquence Gaie. Yaya, a man in his sixties, finds a tape recorder that brings back the voices, laughter, and confidences of this iconic program. Through sound archives and theatrical fiction, the show evokes the freedom of speech of a generation marked by the emergence of AIDS and the assertion of homosexual identity.

Performed by Laure Blatter, Sarah Calcine, Valentin Clabault, Guillaume Costanza, and Julien Lewkowicz, the show alternates between sound reenactments and intimate monologues. Part documentary, part invention, it reconstructs the memories of a group of presenters and listeners caught up in a pivotal moment in French queer history. The staging combines sound design by Valentin Clabault and lighting by Jérôme Baudouin, in an approach that brings together theater, archives, and radio broadcasting.

With Ce soir j’ai de la fièvre et toi tu meurs de froid(Tonight I Have a Fever and You Are Freezing to Death), the Tous les jours de la vie theatre company continues its exploration of a theatre of memory, where fiction and reality meet to question the transmission and survival of forgotten voices. The production can be seen at the Théâtre Paris-Villette from March 19 to April 4, 2026.
