The Grand Palais will host the 236th edition of the Salon of French Artists, from February 13 to 15, 2026. Over three days, visitors will have the chance to admire the work of nearly 900 artists, displayed beneath the iconic glass vaulted ceiling of this Parisian landmark. A must-see art fair in Paris, steeped in a rich and captivating history.
The Salon des Artistes Français was officially launched in 1880. The successor to the Salon de l'Académie des Beaux-Arts, this artistic gathering was a benchmark salon for French painters and sculptors for decades. Some of France's greatest artists exhibited here, including Gustave Courbet, Camille Claudel, Eugène Viollet-le-Duc, Aristide Maillol, Eugène Delacroix, Auguste Rodin, Édouard Manet and Paul Cézanne...
Gradually, the show expanded: today, it features five artistic disciplines: painting, sculpture, photography, architecture and engraving. Both established and up-and-coming artists can exhibit and meet the general public.
This year’s edition in Paris aims once again to showcase a broad overview of contemporary French art through a diverse and engaging exhibition tour, culminating in awards presented to the winners of 2026.
This year, the event will also feature lectures and panel discussions open to all audiences:
Friday, February 13th
Saturday, February 14
