Hanami: Vincent Heguy’s free exhibition at the Galerie Calmejane

They symbolize renewal and sunny days coming back: cherry trees are blossoming from late March, announcing spring. A very beautiful phenomenon celebrated in Japan with the Hanami festival. This celebration encourages one to take the time to enjoy the beauty of cherry blossoms, a moment of contemplation so you can forget everything else.

And it is to be part of this custom that Vincent Heguy throws his new free exhibition called “Naturellement” at the galerie Calmejane in the Marais. From March 24 to April 3, 2022, the painter makes us discover the cherry blossoms painted during lockdown.

French contemporary artist Vincent Heguy presents a series of paintings inspired by cherry blossoms. To give free rein to his art, the painter has the habit of clearing his mind, only thinking about the movement of his brush, only focusing on the work he is creating.
