Paradox Museum offers nearly a hundred immersive experiences—from trompe-l'œil illusions and optical tricks to sensory overhauls—that await visitors in Paris. Get ready to be tricked and to snap surreal photos. Five new interactive installations have just been added to the journey, making it the perfect time to challenge your senses! And as a bonus, a brand-new, ultra-delicious café, Hans & Gretel, is ready to tempt you.

The Paradox Museum in Paris continues to seduce us with its latest additions! The world's largest museum of mental trickery unveils 5 new immersive experiences to turn our heads upside down. We're off to (re)discover this temple of illusion, just a stone's throw from the Opéra, in 1700 m2 of space on 3 levels.

In Paris, we never tire of surprising you. With the Musée de l'Illusion and its multi-sensory trail, Sensas, theimmersive and sensoryexperience, and Science Experiences and its immersive trail, there's no end to the number of surprising museums with funny experiences.

Head for the Grands Boulevards, in Paris's 9th arrondissement, near FlyView and La tête dans les nuages, to discover this spot that's expanding to our delight. This is the European flagship for the concept, which has no intention of stopping there, as new addresses are opening all over the world.

The Paradox Museum offers an immersive and playful journey with over 90 interactive illusions. Perfect for a family outing, a day with friends, or a romantic escape, it's this winter's must-visit fun spot. And for a sweet break, extend the experience at Hans & Gretel, a fairy-tale confectionery filled with cotton candy and artisanal ice creams.

Highlight experiences not to miss:

  • Paradox Sofa, where you disappear halfway in the blink of an eye;
  • Vertical Paradox, an elevator climb that defies logic;
  • Zero Gravity, a room where gravity seems to suspend itself;
  • Ames Room, an illusion that changes size depending on where you stand;
  • Paradox Tunnel, a rotating corridor that tricks your sense of balance;
  • Reversed Room, a space where everything appears upside down;
  • Camouflage Room, perfect for blending seamlessly into the scenery.

The program at the Paradox Museum in Paris includes almost a hundred experiences, for families and friends alike, to push back the limits of reality. Among these many unusual experiences, more than a dozen are exclusive to the site! This means you can experience installations designed and created exclusively for the French capital that don't exist in Oslo or Barcelona.

The 5 new features

  • In the Zero Gravity Room, the sensation of weightlessness comes alive. Floating like an astronaut becomes possible thanks to a sci-fi-inspired setting. A concept popularized by Hollywood blockbusters and music videos, it offers a unique and exclusive experience in France.

  • The Water Paradox at the Paradox Museum challenges perception: water droplets appear to float or move upstream, thanks to a clever play of stroboscopic lighting that tricks the eye. The illusion is stunning and prompts us to question our sense of reality.

  • With Butterflies, a shadow ballet of fluttering wings comes to life under subtle changes in lighting. This poetic immersion evokes childhood memories and invites visitors on a journey between dreams and optical illusions.

  • Inside the Red & Blue Room, artist Insane51 creates a living kaleidoscope where colors intertwine to form 3D visual illusions. An enthralling dive into the universe of contrast and vibrant perception.

  • Finally, the Seesaw Paradox turns a simple swing into a visual challenge. Two individuals sway on either side of a mirror, synchronized yet never crossing paths. This installation explores the boundary between reality and illusion.
