The Paradox Museum in Paris continues to seduce us with its latest additions! The world's largest museum of mental trickery unveils 5 new immersive experiences to turn our heads upside down. We're off to (re)discover this temple of illusion, just a stone's throw from the Opéra, in 1700 m2 of space on 3 levels.

In Paris, we never tire of surprising you. With the Musée de l'Illusion and its multi-sensory trail, Sensas, theimmersive and sensoryexperience, and Science Experiences and its immersive trail, there's no end to the number of surprising museums with funny experiences.

Head for the Grands Boulevards, in Paris's 9th arrondissement, near FlyView and La tête dans les nuages, to discover this spot that's expanding to our delight. This is the European flagship for the concept, which has no intention of stopping there, as new addresses are opening all over the world.

The Paradox Museum: a must-visit attraction!

Perfect for a family outing, a day with friends, or a romantic escape, it’s the ultimate fun spot this winter. Highlights not to miss:

  • Paradox Sofa: where you disappear halfway in the blink of an eye;
  • Vertical Paradox: an ascent that defies logic;
  • Zero Gravity: a room where gravity appears to be suspended;
  • Ames Room: a space that warps size depending on where you stand;
  • Paradox Tunnel: a spinning corridor that messes with your balance;
  • Reversed Room: a space where everything feels upside down;
  • Camouflage Room: designed to blend you seamlessly into the surroundings.

The program at the Paradox Museum in Paris includes almost a hundred experiences, for families and friends alike, to push back the limits of reality. Among these many unusual experiences, more than a dozen are exclusive to the site! This means you can experience installations designed and created exclusively for the French capital that don't exist in Oslo or Barcelona.

The 5 new features

  • In the Zero Gravity Room, the sensation of weightlessness becomes reality. Floating like an astronaut is made possible through a setting inspired by science fiction. This concept, already popular in Hollywood blockbusters and music videos, offers visitors a unique and exclusive experience in France.

  • The Water Paradox at the Paradox Museum challenges perception: water droplets appear to float or even move upstream, thanks to a clever play of stroboscopic lighting that tricks the eye. The illusion is striking and prompts reflection on our relationship with reality.

  • With Butterflies, a shadow ballet of butterflies comes to life under the subtle shifts of light. This poetic immersion evokes childhood memories and invites visitors on a journey between dreams and optical illusions.

  • In the Red & Blue Room, artist Insane51 creates a living kaleidoscope where colors intertwine to produce 3D visual illusions. A captivating exploration of contrast and vibrant perception.

  • Finally, the Seesaw Paradox transforms a simple swing into a visual challenge. Two people swing on opposite sides of a mirror, synchronizing their movements without ever crossing paths. An installation that explores the connection between reality and illusion.
