Free "Au fil de l'or" evening at the Musée du Quai Branly in Paris, the program

After taking us on a journey to Haiti, to the source of the zombie myth, the Musée du Quai Branly - Jacques Chirac takes us on a journey in the footsteps of gold. " Au fil de l'or. L'art de se vêtir de l'Orient au Soleil-Levant " is the name of the new exhibition at the famous Parisian museum. For almost five months, visitors can travel from the Maghreb to Japan, discovering the fascinating origins of gold and its marriage with the textile arts.

As part of this major new exhibition, the Musée du Quai Branly - Jacques Chirac is organizing another themed evening. The theme of this nocturnal event is gold and textile creation, and it's not to be missed on Friday March 14, 2025, from 8pm to 1am.

With free admission, but subject to availability, this " Au fil de l'or " evening will feature music, including a dj set and a mini concert. There will also be a dance performance,live weaving and an introduction to " Bolly'Amazigh". And don't forget to visit the exhibition " Au fil de l'or. The art of dressing from the Orient to the Rising Sun ". Discover the program for this evening, which will transport you from the Mediterranean to the Far East, to discover gold and the diversity of contemporary creations.

• Live Weaving by Desire Moheb-Zandi / Théâtre Claude Lévi-Strauss 8-10:30 pm
  Echoing the exhibition, artist Desire Moheb-Zandi brings her creations to life in a colorful " live weaving " that transforms the space into a veritable workshop.
  
  
• Dance performance: Benang Emas / Théâtre Claude Lévi-Strauss 8:15pm - 8:35pm
  Choreographer Kadek Puspasari explores contemporary Indonesian dance, inspired by traditional songket fabric and weaving techniques from Sumatra, Java and Bali.
  
  
• Talk: The origin of gold / Théâtre Claude Lévi-Strauss 8:45pm - 9:15pm
  With humor and passion, astrophysicist David Elbaz guides you through the mysteries of gold's creation.
  
  
• Decoding with Zoé Hotuqui / Théâtre Claude Lévi-Strauss 9:30pm to 9:50pm
  Decode the world of fashion and runway shows with content creator Zoé Hotuqui.
  
  
• Show: Golden Hafla / Théâtre Claude Lévi-Strauss 10:00 pm to 10:30 pm
  Specially concocted for the occasion, " Golden Hafla " celebrates the brilliance and universal symbolism of gold, with the Compagnie Kif-Kif Bledi, featuring dancers of Moroccan, Algerian, Tunisian and Senegalese origin.
  
  
• Mini-concert: Ziyara / Hall d'accueil from 8:00 pm
  Ziyara takes you on a tour of the Maghreb and the Middle East, revisiting the atmosphere of ceremonies through music and dance.
  
  
• Initiation: Bolly'Amazigh / Théâtre Claude Lévi-Strauss from 11:00 pm to 11:30 pm
  Through movement and learning choreography, the Kif-Kif Bledi company plunges you into " Bolly'Amazigh ", a skilful blend of Bollywood and women's dance from the Souss region of Morocco.
