Japanese art on show in Paris this spring! The Sato Gallery, or Galerie Sato if you prefer, announces a new group exhibition. Entitled " The Blooming of a Heritage ", this small installation is on view from April 17 to May 3, 2025. As always, admission is free.
So, what can we expect? For just over two weeks, the Parisian gallery dedicated tocontemporary art will be exhibiting the work of 10 Japanese artists, working in disciplines as diverse and varied as painting, textiles and ceramics.
Among the artists on show will be Goro Ishimori, Ken Yashiki, Jun Makita, Kaz Shirane, Shun Okada and Makiko Tanaka.
For the occasion, these 10 contemporary artists explored the theme of " heritage " in all its forms, giving rise to works in bold colors, luminous materials and renewed shapes. And while some artists embody heritage through generations of meticulous craftsmanship, others reinterpret cultural motifs in contemporary ways.
As the Parisian gallery Sato points out, some of these Japanese artists are exhibiting for the very first time in Paris! A great opportunity to discover these up-and-coming young artists! To admire their work, visit the Sato gallery from April 17 to May 3, 2025. A vernissage, open to the public, is scheduled for April 17, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
Galerie Sato is a space dedicated to contemporary art, with a particular focus on the contemporary Japanese art scene. Located in the heart of Paris, Galerie Sato also participates in French and international art fairs, including theUrban Art Fair.
