And what if your next outing in Paris could lead you through a larger-than-life, mouthwatering tale?
From May to July 2026, Le Paradox Museum, ideally nestled in the heart of Paris, in the 9th arrondissement, just steps from the Opéra district and the Grands Magasins, reimagines part of its route as an immersive adventure inspired by Hansel & Gretel to celebrate the Parisian birthday of Hans & Gretel.
Designed for families, kids, the curious, tourists and fans of illusions, this temporary program blends interactive museum, scavenger hunt, enchanted sets, puzzles, photo moments and sweet treats.
From the moment you step in, visitors are invited to enter an enchanted forest imagined as the starting point of a living tale.
The route then takes the form of a labyrinth of riddles, where young and old alike follow in the footsteps of Hansel and Gretel toward the witch’s mysterious house.
Picture yourself moving from room to room, hunting for clues, watching the illusions, smiling at the sets, and wondering if your eyes are playing tricks on you.
That’s the promise of Paradox Museum Paris, which here adds a narrative and sensory dimension to its usual experience.
The museum thus becomes a playground where you can have fun, observe, search and photograph memories to share.
Throughout the celebration, a variety of activities will punctuate the visit.
Each day, gold tickets are hidden in the museum, with Hans & Gretel goodies to be won by the visitors who find them.
As you go along, you may also meet characters drawn from the fairy-tale world, to heighten the sense of walking through a story come to life.
Interactive storytelling sessions are also on the schedule to involve the kids and extend the magic, on Wednesday afternoons and Sunday mornings.
If you’ve ever dreamed of living a fairy tale without leaving Paris, the experience checks all the boxes for a playful, participative outing.
The sugary world of Hans & Gretel Paris extends the immersive experience with ice creams, Bubble Waffles, multicolored cotton candy, Chimney Cakes, milkshakes and gourmet creations crafted for the occasion.
This tasty touch lends the visit a magical fairground vibe, perfect for a family break or a night out with friends.
From Saturday, May 30, 2026, immersive late openings are also scheduled every other Saturday, with actors bringing the tale's characters to life.
The atmosphere promises to become even more immersive, like an after-dark dive into a story we thought we knew.
Because this program bundles several cravings into one outing: discovering an immersive museum in Paris, enjoying a family-friendly activity, solving puzzles, taking in photogenic set pieces, and savoring a sweet break.
The venue caters to both children and adults who love visual experiences, fantastical worlds, and outings that break from the usual itinerary.
For visitors passing through Paris, it’s also an original way to discover an address in the 9th arrondissement with a touch of magic.
