This spring, Yann Arthus‑Bertrand invites you to discover the beauty and diversity of today’s France through a groundbreaking event called "Living Together." What’s on the program? A photo exhibition, a photo studio, not to mention encounters to be discovered on Place de la Concorde from April 11 to May 10, 2026. More details to come.

Yann Arthus‑Bertrand is taking over the Place de la Concorde for a month to celebrate diversity, social ties, and citizen engagement. In collaboration with demographer and historian Hervé Le Bras and the Goodplanet Foundation, founded by him in 2005, the renowned photographer announces the event "Living Together".

From April 11 to May 10, 2026, Parisians are invited to explore the beauty and diversity of today’s France through a series of free events, including a photo exhibition, talks, or the installation of a photo studio on the iconic Place de la Concorde.

In detail, this event "Vivre ensemble" will unveil the photo exhibition "France, a family album". Quick reminder: the renowned journalist, filmmaker, photographer and environmental activist Yann Arthus-Bertrand has been crisscrossing France for 30 years to capture countless faces alongside those of their loved ones, colleagues or even their animals. During these photo sessions, everyone is invited to don their workwear or everyday attire and pose on the same burlap tarpaulin. After his 2023 meeting with Hervé Le Bras, Yann Arthus-Bertrand chose to complete this important photographic project by enriching it with a demographic and educational dimension. Last autumn, the exhibition "France, a family album" was thus presented in the honor salons of the Hôtel de Ville.

This spring, Yann Arthus-Bertrand and Hervé Le Bras invite the most curious to (re)discover these photographs for the bicentennial of photography, but this time outdoors on the Place de la Concorde. In addition to the exhibition, it will also be possible to participate in the project via the installation of a temporary photo studio.

An education program for school groups, as well as meet-and-greet sessions and career exploration activities, will also set the tone for the event "Vivre ensemble".

With this unprecedented, free event, Yann Arthus-Bertrand thus aims to offer, in the heart of Paris, a space for reflection and sharing around what unites us.
