Daft Punk: a photo exhibition dedicated to the famous electro duo arriving in Paris this autumn

More than five and a half years after their split, Daft Punk is being celebrated this autumn in Paris with a photography exhibition titled “Around the World.” Here’s more on this artistic event that is expected to draw many fans of the famous helmeted duo.

On February 22, 2021, Daft Punk fans were stunned. After 28 years in existence, the legendary French electronic duo announced its split in a video titled “Epilogue.” Since then, many hold out hope for a reunion of the helmeted duo, comprised of Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo. Others prefer to dive back into Daft Punk’s catalog, looping their many hits, such as “One More Time,” “Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger,” “Da Funk,” and “Around the World.”

"Around The World", is precisely the title of this photography exhibition dedicated to Daft Punk, and not to be missed this autumn in Paris! For now, exact dates for this show haven't been announced yet, and the title clearly nods to the landmark single released in 1997 on the album "Homework". That said, we can reveal that the exhibition will feature 65 archival photographs of Daft Punk, captured during their international travels between 1997 and 2005.

On the Instagram page for this upcoming exhibition, we catch a glimpse of Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo on a promotional tour through Tokyo and Paris. Photos also taken in Los Angeles, Berlin, or New York will be unveiled this autumn in the capital. This is what Landry, the man behind this Daft Punk–dedicated art event, tells us by phone. After organizing with his agency "Why Always Loge" the exhibition "France 98" in Paris in 2025, Landry now unveils his new project, this time devoted to the most famous of the masked French duo.

The collection of these archival photographs will be on view in a 500 m2 Paris space during the month of November 2026. While awaiting the opening, fans can mark their calendars for a pre-event on October 23, 2026, in the 3rd arrondissement, specifically at 58 Rue Volta. Starting at 6 p.m., a first look at a selection of the photographs set to be exhibited in November will be available. The exact dates, the precise installation venue, and the names of the photographers featured will also be announced at this free-entry pre-event.

But that’s not all, as fans will also be able to pre-order prints and book their tickets in advance for the exhibition at a pre-sale price of 7 euros (compared with 10 euros once the pre-sale ends). We expect the public to turn out in large numbers. So mark your calendars for October 23 starting at 6 p.m. to access this space open exclusively for 24 hours non-stop. Night owls who want to come and explore this pre‑event at 5 a.m. will be welcomed with open arms! For those who can’t make it to the venue, an online sale will be launched soon.
