Here, there’s no question of staying out of the spotlight. Dancers, musicians, artisans, and riders and history enthusiasts bring to life the etiquette codes of the Enlightenment. Fashion, table pleasures, body care, music, dance, games, philosophical exchanges and garden entertainments reveal how the art of hosting paced daily life at the time.

The setting is striking. The castle notably hosted the Count of Artois, who would become Charles X, as well as Voltaire. For one day, visitors can walk in the footsteps of these great figures and see the monument in a far livelier light.
