From the very first steps, the stage is set: salons, galleries and grand rooms become as many stages where the story unfolds around you. Here there are no passive spectators—everyone moves through the narrative as if in a waking dream, guided by a staging that lets theatre, baroque music and dance converse with one another.

But behind the ball gown, another story comes into view. The one Charles Perrault imagined, drawing on the court of Louis XIV. The familiar figures of the tale take on a new nuance: Madame de Montespan, Paul Scarron, and Madame de Maintenon slip into roles in this timeless narrative. The pumpkin is never far from Versailles.

Following the success of the three seasons of La Belle & la Bête (2022-2024), which drew nearly 55,000 spectators, the Château de Maisons is now presenting an immersive show centered on Cinderella, even more magical and participatory. And for those eager to get involved: 500 volunteers (set design, costumes, dressing, acting, backstage, catering, security...) are being sought to join the adventure.

A show where we don’t just dream — we step through the looking glass. Until midnight, of course...
