Air Legend 2025 returns to Seine-et-Marne for a memorable 7th edition. This not-to-be-missed event for aviation enthusiasts will take place at theMelun-Villaroche airfield, just 40 kilometers southeast of Paris. This 2025 edition will mark a new era for the event, now organized by Éditions Larivière, who took over after the death of founder Christian Amara last February. The famous journalist and presenter François Allain, known for his programs on automobiles and aeronautics, is sponsoring this edition with his infectious passion for mechanical heritage.
On Saturday, September 6 and Sunday, September 7, 2025, get ready to experience one of Europe's biggest airshows, with a breathtaking air show on the program. You'll be able to see numerous aircraft in flight, including some remarkable World War II aircraft, as well as vintage and modern jets, some of which have never or very rarely been seen in France!
The 2025 program promises an exceptional show, with some fifty confirmed aircraft. Among the expected stars are the mythical P-51D Mustang "Marinell" and the legendary Spitfire Mk IX MH415, true icons of the Second World War. The rare Messerschmitt Me 262, the first jet-powered production aircraft, will also be present, as will the F4U-5 Corsair with its inimitable silhouette, made famous by the TV series "Les têtes brûlées".
Fans of modern machines will be able to admire the impressive A400M Atlas during a tactical display, as well as the ALAT's NH90 Caiman and Tiger military helicopters. Special attention will be paid to women in aviation, with a tribute to the WASPs, the American pilots of the Second World War, and the first presentation in France of a P-51 Mustang in women's livery.
The event will host a number of spectacular formations, including the Aerosuperbatics Wingwalkers, who push the boundaries of airshow with their wing-walking demonstrations. The Stearman Patrol will bring back the heroic days of American pilot training, while the Air Deco Patrol will bring together the elegant Spartan Executive and Beechcraft Staggerwing of the 1930s.
Thrill-seekers will appreciate the spectacular Jet Pitts, an incredible aerobatic biplane equipped with a mixed propulsion system combining piston engines and jet turbines. The Classic Formation from Switzerland will bring back the golden age of aviation with a vintage elegance unique in Europe.
Air Legend 2025 will feature a wide range of ground-based activities. The"Parcours du Petit Combattant", specially designed for children aged 6 to 12, will enable young adventurers to take on challenges inspired by World War II military training, supervised by re-enactors in period costume. Participants will leave with a souvenir diploma and a memorable photo.
The model workshop, in partnership with the Model Shop and CAMO75, will enable children to assemble their own model aircraft and discover aeromodelling in a fun way. The period atmosphere will be provided by the Scottish pipe band 91st Gatinais Highlanders and re-enactors in historic uniforms who will bring to life the atmosphere of the Second World War.
Air Legend 2025 will offer a rich and varied program over the two days, with identical schedules on Saturday and Sunday:
